What type of deals can I offer on the platform?
You can offer whatever you’d like – that’s the great thing about the platform! You can test different offers and see who’s interested without the standard trial and error that comes with brand partnerships. The most common offer is for store credit (for example, $15 to spend at the location), but it can also be specific merchandise (for example, 1 free sandwich/shirt/drink/etc.), or just a large discount. Feel free to get creative and see what happens, and let us know if you have any questions.
What are you being charged for?
It is completely free to sign up for a StarSpot account and browse our database of employers and influencers. When you decide to post a brand deal, we will charge you a Platform Fee, which changes based on the amount of the deal you are offering. We are charging you for the ability to be seen by our qualified influencers, the ability to use our algorithm to select the best candidate, and the support we provide once the candidate has been selected.
Why do we charge more for larger brand deals?
The larger the brand deal, the more likely you are to connect with an influencer with a large following. It costs us more time and resources to get these influencers on the platform, and they will likely have a bigger impact on your business. This is how we get compensated for that extra effort and account for their value-added.
What happens if you don't get any influencers that match your qualifications?
If none of our applicants match your qualifications, we will refund the amount charged.
What happens once you accept an influencer's application for your deal?
The influencer will be notified and we will put you in contact with one another. From there, it is both parties responsibility to carry out the agreement of the deal. We do not handle the scheduling or payments of the deal, but will provide support where needed.

Will I ever be charged for using the platform?
No, StarSpot is completely free for Influencers. Apply to as many deals as you want with no charge.
How do I find brand deals that are a good fit for me?
The best way to find relevant brand deals is by heading to the ‘All Deals’ page and filling out the Job Filter Sidebar with all of your information.
How will I know if I get a brand deal?
Our system will contact you once an employer has made their decision.
What do I do after receiving a deal?
After you are selected, the employer will contact you with details on the timeline and payment structure of the deal. If the employer does not reach out to you within 5 days, contact us for assistance.
